consultation?
i myself have had 2 miscarriages, one at 9 weeks, and one at 12 weeks. I was told that I was unable to see a specialist until "After my 3rd miscarriage." That is horrible and talk about post-partum depression. Is there any way around it? I would like to get tested prior to my husband getting back to see if it's me. Any information would help..

have you guys been trying for a year or more? and you should be able to ask for a second opinion. Have you tried making an appointment with a OB Dr. to just plan your next pregnancy? Sometimes they will do tests on you to make sure everything is going okay down there. My mom had 3 miscarriages before she had my sister, and then they realized she has a tilted uterus..

The military hospital just keeps telling me I have to wait for a 3rd miscarriage. I'm starting to feel like if I want anything done I'm going to have to go to a civilian hospital because then they would take me more seriously. It just doesn't settle well with me.

I had 2 miscarriages prior to this pregnancy. I was terrified that something was wrong with me, however as of right now this pregnancy is going great. I know that doesn't help you to get tested, however I thought it might be comforting to know that others do have multiple miscarriages and go on to have healthy pregnancies. Do you know your blood type?? Do you have any chronic medical conditions?

I know for me no matter what (i knew i wasn't ovulating) they wouldn't even lok at me till they did a SA on dh first. Its the easiest way to rule him out.
As for the waiting for a 3rd, there is true reason behind it. It sucks but they do have to set a guideline, just because recurring miscarriages are something more in depth. I am really sorry that you have miscarried twice. How long had you been ttc for both of those? |

No past medical conditions. Never had bad luck with my health. And I haven't been actively trying for a long time. I've been married for about 10 months. Our way of thinking is if it happens it happens. But I can't get answers for any of my questions other then a miscarriage under 13 weeks is chromosomal.
