We are not currently TTC because DH is deployed and I don't think we will be once he is home because we have become selfish suddenly and just want to enjoy each other
BUT we tried for 6 months back in 2007 till he left for Iraq. Then he was home for 10 months before he left for Afghanistan but did about 7 months of training during that time where he was home and away and home and away. Some of those months he was home during ovulation and some he was not. So it was probably another 6 months he was home but still no baby. I have been to my OBGYN and all is well. I think a lot of us not getting pregnant had to do with my weight. So we will see. We are in no rush like I said. If he comes home and I get pregnant we will feel blessed if not, no big deal Good luck!

also to the weight, how can I get pregnant when IM not healthy! So at this point when he gets home we wont be religiously TTC but we arent preventing it either! It will happen when it happens. But to answer the question we started in June 07' "not preventing" and we started really getting serious in October 08' and have yet to succeed. But goodluck to all that are TTC lots and lots of and that you get your soon!

We didnt start actively 'trying' until he was home on pass and r&r.
But we werent preventing for about 4 months before he deployed..but then I got the shot 2 months before he left. But I havent used any bc since he left so we can continue trying when he comes home in 4 months.
