So what are the chances???? - Trying to Conceive

We are only on our 1st official week of ttcing and I was supposed to ovulate between Sept 30th and Oct 5th and I definetly did because I did one of those ovulation pee sticks on Oct 1st and I got two dark lines which means ovulation will start within 24-48 hours. Soooooo DH and I had sex Friday, Saturday and Sunday......what are the chance of becoming preggo??? I'm so new to all this!!!!

There is a chance! Not sure how great it is..it all depends on if you were on bc prior ttc and for how long you were on it...and of course it also depends on your body.

yeah i think it's different for everyone but i did hear somewhere that you are 85% likely to conceive within a year of stopping birth control if you are both healthy....but idk if that's true bc i can't remember where i heard it lol

I forgot to add that part....I was on the pill but have been off of it for almost a year. DH and I used the "pull & pray" method after I stopped taking the pill. So all of that should be totally out of my system!

Even with completely perfect timing, there is only a 20% chance of a viable pregnancy resulting each cycle. Unfortunately all you can do now is wait it out and test sometime after 10DPO.

DH and I tried while he was home on R&R and luckily I was ovulating and had been off my BC for about 6 months and no luck, it's like another waiting game lol
