If anyone here knows me outside of this site, please don't mention this. We are keeping it on the down low
(yes, wifey that means you and facebook )Dh and I are talking about TTC. We go back and forth on this often. It is a hard topic for me, because I am the problem in us TTC. I have PCOS ![]() I hate that I can't give DH the children he desires, and I really want to do this for him. After trying for 2 years we got pregnant with DS. I spotted for months, constantly though I would m/c, threw up for 8 months (even on meds), had a great labor, but had to go to C-section (and will have to for the next baby too), then I had PPD. I want another child, but I don't know if I want to go through all of that **** again. DH doesn't really understand. My DS is 2 now, and I am just getting to the point where I love being a mommy. I am just now feeling "normal" again. So, I have a doctors appointment on Thursday. I am going to talk to my PCM about getting a referral to an RE. I told DH is this doesn't happen before he deploys I don't think I will be up for it after.... I don't know what I am looking for with all of this, but I needed to get it out somewhere.

Ohh wifey let me begin by saying i would NEVER flaunt your business around esp on FB unless i was commenting on something you had already made public knowledge.
Secondly...i know you and DH have been going back and forth alot, but i think if your PCM can give you a referal(sp?) To and RE like we did, and this the history they should be able to, then maybe you can decide what suits you best from there. Im only a txt and call away...the next little bit is gunna be stressful, decisions and all...but you know that. Lots of to you, DH and DS from our family!!

oh sweetie,
I hope it isn't as hard this time around, you never know though. I know everyone says going from 1-2 is very hard, but if you want one, don't let the fear stop you. I have been trying almost 3 years now and knowing that I am the problem is very hard to deal with.

PCOS is a very hard to treat syndrome that causes infertility. Because it doesn't present the same in all people, the treatment varies. It is super stressful
![]()
![]() Ya know, I have heard it is painful from lots of gals, but honestly, it isn't painful for me at all (at least not physically). And Wifey I didn't think you would blab intentionally, but I thought I would make sure to say it is a secret. Last time there was a lot of pressure on us from family and everyone was up in my vagina business. I would prefer to keep all of our family out of the trying process this time, I don't like everyone asking questions, then saying all of the same stupid comments every month.

I know this is a little off topic but how did you get diagnosed with PCOS. did you only find out when you were ttc?

and things. When I mentioned we had been of BC for a few months and I hadn't had a visit from aunt flo she did an internal ultra sound. That was all it took, one look at my ovaries and she said she had never seen anything like them After I had DS she did another internal a few months later and printed me a picture and they were just as bad.

you can find out before TTC (sorry not trying to jump in) i found out i had PCOS in highschool and was told i wouldnt be able to concieve without fert. drugs....DD was born 4yrs later au natural....no fert meds. Mind you i didnt "O" for 4 months before that but still its possible. You can talk to you OB about your concerns and if you have any symptoms...they will be able to determine whether you have it or not.
