Sex every other day - Trying to Conceive

How do you gus do it? I mean finding the time is the hardest. We missed yesterday because dh slept in then didn't get home till after I was in bed. I tried to wait but he wasn't home till almost 1am. So then today he slept in again. He woke with enough time to get ready for work and leave, so we are going to try tonight. But its hard when he works 50-65 hours on average a week.

Not to mention, performance anxiety definately kicks in. I am not in the mood to have that much sex, espically after 2 1/2 years of this. So what do you do to be able to have that much sex?

I wish i could help...but the performance anxiety made us fight like crazy...and then i just dont wanna...i wish i knew how to get over the feeling like we "have to do it"

You're making it a have to do instead of a want to do. I suggest seeing if you can focus on bringing romance into it, and if you get pregnant, it's a MAJOR perk! But if you're having sex ONLY because you want to have a kid, it's kinda like going to work. It's just becomes part of the daily routine.

Hope you figure something out!

We don't stress and we just have sex whenever...

We've never been ones to PLAN when we're going to have sex.

i would only have sex towards the end of the month when i knew id be ovulating. I got to a point where I could pin point the best days with an ovulation kit. I thought it would save me the time of doing it "too much" and increase my chances of getting pregnant. and it worked.

Well we are not TTC, but we don't plan it. If it(sex) happens it happens if not, then oh well. Instead of thinking we have to have sex...think of it like I GET to have sex with my great DH

I know it doesn't work for everyone... TTH

Seth and I are going in with the attitude that if it happens it happens.
I dont want to be having sex and stressing about getting pregnant.
I personally want to enjoy my man during that time!

to me it sounds like a chore you're describing. it would help a lot getting pregnant also I think if you brought the romance into it! this is your husband, you should want to make love to him, right?

we have plenty of romance between us, but every other day is a little daunting considering we have been ttc for over 2 1/2 years now. So as much as we want to we know that its a must as well. And pinpointing ovulation doesn't work for me. I only have one good ovary and other issues that interfer. So we are looking for a little light in the dark, and the possibilities are slim. Oh well, we'll keep trying. Today is cd18 but i haven't had any discharge yet so I don't think Im gonna ovulate this month.

I'm no help we, we had the opposite problem. We wanted to have sex every day and had to force ourselves to wait everyother day. To help you relax why don't y'all try acting out fantasies you both have. I don't know if it had any effect but when we got pregnant with DS we were both very drunk on champagne, it was my birthday

. Y'all might have plenty of romance between y'all but you do sound very stressed about it.
