but i really want another child and i want one before DD gets too much older and before DH is sent out to sea. BUT DH hasn't really said anything and everytime i bring it up he kinda brushes it aside....sooo (here comes the bad part) SOMETIMES i wish my IUD would fall out

...that way i could have an excuse/reason why i would become preggo.

i would never act on it of course cause that would just be wrong

and i would never do something like that behind DH's back..It's just sometimes i wish it. I just wanted to get it out..

how long are you supposed to keep IUDs? Maybe at your yearly you can just have it taken out and removed for good. Like, let you boy know and everything...that way you can have a less perm. form of family planning?

Just wait to find out where his permanent duty station will be. If he gets shore duty, definitely bring up having #2! That way he won't miss the early milestones, like he would if he got sea duty...

its really hard when you and your dh are on different sides of the issue. DH and I were never on the same page until just recently. I would never try to have a child unless dh was onboard, no matter how bad I wanted one. I know that is one big way to head for divorce, I have seen my parents.
