Who uses airline frequent flyer miles?
Since being away from home for the first time since November, I have flown home twice already and will be needing to go back 2 more times before the year is up. I was thinking of getting one of those airline credit cards to earn miles. Does anyone have one and which airlines gives the best points/miles?

I travel for work a lot so I get all the freebies that I can! All of the major airlines have a "frequent flyer" program. You can go their website and register for it. I have an American Express Delta Skymiles card (personal) that I use to pay bills and buy everyday items. When I get paid, I pay my AmEx card. I keep my purchases in a check register like I would if I were using my bank account (to make sure I don't get crazy with credit). Between the credit that I get for flights and the ones I get for the card, I usually have enough for at least one free trip a year.
You will need to look at the different programs though. Each airline is a little different. Some count miles and some count number of trips. Oh and some hotels will allow you to register for their frequent stay programs and convert your points with them to airline points so you can build up that way too. Good luck! PM me if you want some more info. |
