weight limit with checked bags?

I know its 50 pounds for the airline Im flying on, but how much do they charge if you go over?

Im afraid my bags are gonna be to heavy, but I dont wanna pay a lot of money for it. But winter clothes are heavy and hard to packl!

25-50 is the standard though and the more you are over the more it will be
if you are over why not just ship it

weigh them. trust me they always feel heavier then they actually are. i freaked out cuz we had a seventy pound limit, and his seabag was PACKED, but it only weighed like 45 pounds.

I think its under the 50, but Im gonna take the frying pan out for good measure.

I dont have a scale, when I get to my dads tomorrow I will weigh them and then adjust if needed.

Because if you're over a whole bunch, it'll be best to check-in a 3rd suitcase or have your Dad ship them.
