Opinions on Airlines - Travel, Leisure & Vacations

When DB comes home on the 30th, he'll be switching planes 3 times (he's going from FL to CA). & he'll be on 2 different Airlines just on the way here. He'll be on Delta for the 1st 2 stops, & then the last one is American West. I usally only use Southwest & United/Ted. So I don't really know how good these other Airlines are/aren't.

So. . . Can someone give me a heads up of how they are. Like, have you had delays w/ them NOT because of weather? His mom & I are driving about 2 hours to Ontario Airport to get him, & she's a Hippy & never leaves in time. He gets in at 2:43pm. So Im thinking that we should leave by 12:30pm at the VERY latest. If it were just me & my mom, we'd leave at 12:00pm. BUT.. His mom is a Hippy & complains alot & won't leave that early because then we' had 45 mins to sit in the Airport and wait, which I am use to doing.

I just don't want to miss watching him come down the esclator & running into his arms. So, any input for anyone?

dont have any opinions on those airlines, i always fly southwest.

but if i were you, i would leave when YOU want to. if she wants to come with you, she better be ready, or she will be driving herself.

you know, i got to the port like 2 hours before he landed, and his fam got there 20 minutes before he landed.. looking back, i wish i would have waited a while, it only makes you more anxious!! and adam's flight was like ON time!! and i think he was delta.

I agree. I've never flown on either of those airlines. I usually fly with American Airlines.

America West, i used to fly them to cali all the time...They were never delayed for me! Good luck!

I've used both airline and had no problems with either one...I've also flown into Ontario...Where are you coming from?
