Anybody know how - Travel, Leisure & Vacations

I would find out if we have to have a car with chain or such in the Poconos in Dec??
We have never been and I know some states they are illegal others are mandetory etc..
Any advice?

I would just have them with you anyway. You never know what could happen after you are there. Better to be safe then sorry!

I would not get studded tires put on, those are not ok in all places. But Chains are what you could just pull over and put on the car if the need arrised.

We are getting a rental at the airport though

I would talk to the rental company..I'm sure they've had people ask the same questions and they should be able to help you out!

i dont think you would need chains or studded tires

yeah there is snow in december but you really wouldnt need chains and such unless you are going to travel back roads...i would just make sure you have good tires or 2 wheel drive or w/e that is lol
