If you have stayed there how far in advance did you make reservations?

they allow you to make reservations up to 365 days in advance, and the rooms fill up fast!

We were thinking maybe May/June of next year. I suppose we should probably get on the ball.

Yes- do it now. My mom just looked at that time frame last week (for May) and they still had rooms. But the sooner the better.

Do it ASAP. When I tried making reservations with them it was full but I called and put our names in a waiting list and I believe a few weeks later they emailed me telling me they had something available for us. So try that if they are full.

Also, if their rooms are full for the time frame you're looking, they will refer you to another hotel that will give you a military rate. But sometimes you can get a cheaper hotel by just asking for a military discount anyway.

DB made our reservations 2 months ago for us to be there starting in 2 days. But we just canceled our reservations to stay somewhere else. Maybe we just got lucky and they weren't full.

My parents made reservations a year in advanced. But they were also getting two rooms so they needed to book really early.

It also has a lot to do with the time of year. You're going in October, it's not as traveled as say May or June. The hotel also fills up with PCSing families too.

Certain times of the year fill up fast........

obviously the holidays, spring break and summer are peak times and you will find it harder to get reservations then.

if you are looking to book in may/june do it now! They are so easy to work with and if you need to change the reservations I believe you have 30 days to do so.

When we lived there we'd sneak downtown alot and play "tourist" and stay......I love that place!
