Canada
I might have posted this before, but what are some MUST SEE'S in Eastern Canada. We're talking Ontario, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. Possibly Labrador and Newfoundland.
Obviously big cities (that I know of...) are Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. What else is there? Specifically what should we DEFINITELY see in these cities. Please share! |

Niagara Falls, Ontario. Go see the falls, and the geology, and wine country, it's amazing.
Bay of Fundy which is in Nova Scotia Toronto, CN Tower Ottawa there is the military museum, parliment buildings, the list is endless. I also suggest if going to ottawa to go see the National Cemetary.

You have to go to the top of the CN Tower and take a peek inside Skydome (I can't bear to call it Roger's Centre) in Toronto. You should really take a drive a couple hours west and see Niagara Falls too. Also, go into the underground city. It is pretty amazing to be walking around the streets downtown and know that there is a whole maze of shops and subways below.
Ottawa, see the parliament buildings. If you walk around the back of the grounds on the river side you can see the fortification and I think there is an old shipwreck sitting there (that might just be in my head though ). There is also an old groundskeeper back there that has a little 'cat shack'. Cats have been living there for years and years and years and he goes and takes care of them. I'm thinking the guy has go to be dead by now, but someone has to be taking care of them. Montreal, the only thing I can really think of is the botanical gardens. I'd much rather be in Quebec City. That is a beautiful old city. That's as far east as I have been.

We aren't going for one long trip, just weekends here and there. We live about 30 miles from the border so we want to take advantage of it now. We'll definitely be headed to the canal this winter, I think we were too early for ice skating when we were up there last November. We've seen Niagara Falls already as well. Adding Quebec City to my list of places to see! Thanks!!
