A day in Paris AND (not or) A day in Amsterdam.
Envision a day long stop over with an exhausted me and a time zone challenged dd. Nonetheless we will not stay in the airport. We will get out and about. We will have one full day in each locale. WWYD?
I'm thinking that a bus tour is a definite. That way dd could just chill and sleep and I could still see something. In Amsterdam this will translate into a canal tour. I don't have any major ideas outside of the tours.

![]() I don't have to pick. I have one stop over on each side of a trip, going and coming. I just have to figure out what to do with the time.

i would definitely do the bus tour in paris. the one i went on took us everywhere in the city... from the arc, to the eiffel tower, to the lourve, to notre dame, etc. that way, because you're exhausted, you can still see all the sites without walking around and you don't have to get off at each stop. it also shows you the city which is absolutely beautiful.
the eiffel tower was amazing, i would definitely go up there if you aren't afraid of heights. the lourve was ok. i'm not sure if you're art people or not. it's neat to say i've seen the mona lisa, but it wasn't THAT impressive. norte dame took my breath away though. it is absolutely beautiful, and there are tons of shops around that area for fun souvenirs and fresh eclairs

I'm preggo and surrounded by drunk people, brain=not functioning. (no, I'm not drinking, just easily confused!)I would probably have to walk through the red light district in Amsterdam but I don't know about Paris. |
