all over europe..
I graduate this year (09/10) and kind of as a final gift to the german students from our teacher (who has put up with us for five years) finally set up a trip for us to go on after we graduate. For whatever reason, the admins wouldnt allow it to be school-associated.
http://www.eftours.com/ForTeachers/P...ct=ET&Tab=itin 'The Grand Tour' is a 31 day tripi all over europe and ends in a three day greek island cruise. i spent months convincing my deutsch lehrer to set it up for us. and finally he said he would, i then spent hours look over the magazines deciding what trip would be the best for us to go on, the most bang for our bucks. In the end, it was cheaper than other companies for a wayy better trip, but for our group it still ends up being about $5,100. I know my parents are completely unwilling to pay at all. I have now about 2300, but i very much need ideas for fundraising! so far, ive come up with the obvious things like hoagie sales since no one does those in the summer, and one of those nifty flamingo deals. Its when you get certain people (usually churches, in our case all the teachers, about 50) with a bunch of pink flamingos in their yard and they pay to have them removed, to pass them, or have anti-flamingo insurance . The group also plans on having monthly spaghetti (or similar) dinners. Those are the only realistic ideas i came up with which wouldnt be a problem but.... There are eight of us, some of whom don't have any money towards it at all. and i'd love to have some very sucessful fundraising going on. Almost everyone has signed up and committed. Any ideas?

There's no cheaper tours? I did a couple Contiki trips last summer and liked them, it wouldn't be school affiliated though.
Car washes, candy sales... |

I'm 17 right now. For the trip i will be 18 and yes, i graduate in 2010.
I'm just a baby. ![]() [QUOTE=BubMunkeyBles;5664711]There's no cheaper tours? QUOTE] There were cheaper tours, yes. however, considering the prices for the other tours, and how little ground they covered in the time frame, it didnt seem as worth it as the whole grand tour. We kind of took a vote and passed around the books after i looked over a bunch. it ended up that everyone just wanted that one. |
