Santorini
Anyone been? Any suggestions?
I'm headed there Aug 6th, staying in Firostefani! My first girls only trip, going with a friend from here.

No. But I am beyond jealous! This is my dream trip! We were supposed to go this past May but some things came up and we didn't get to. I will definitely be looking forward to hear about your trip and see pictures!

never been but i am sooo jelous of you right now! i've always dreamed of going there and DF said that we will go there on our honeymoon! =]

I researched Santorini a bunch because that is where our wedding was originally going to take place. So now, DH is sworn to a vow renewal if we go.
 The only things I really learned about it besides where to get married and where to stay is to get on a boat and go around the island to see everything. Ride a mule/donkey up the hillside if you can. Visit Ancient Thira. Sorry, that's all I have without having been myself.

I think this might be a trip I just wing... I have a whole week on the island and just want to chill.
Don't be too jealous, it went on the CC  I wanted to squeeze it in while it's still the season for the islands, and I start working mid August so no more vacas until we move most likely.

If you don't mind, can you post a little "trip summary" in the travel forum after you get back? I imagined you'd mostly only be able to hang out and wander about the island if you didn't just get on a boat and island hop for a couple of the days. I'd love to hear how you liked it though since it is on my dream list.
