Mediterranean cruises - Travel, Leisure & Vacations

Anyone ever been on one? DH and I are really wanting to go one but we're not sure which cruise line to go through and which port of call would be best. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just got back from a cruise that left from Venice,Italy...it was gorgeous! We used Costa Cruise line...it was a fair price and good service, my only complaint was the decor...it looked like a trashy casino even though it's a new ship. Are there specific countries you wanted to see? We started in Venice,Italy and visited various ports in Croatia, Greece and Turkey.

www.cruisecritic.com is a message board for cruising, a lot of good info on there, and www.cruise.com has a really good search function that allows you to search military fares

DH and I are going on an Eastern Med cruise in Oct and are going through Ocean Village. A few of my co-workers have cruised with ocean village and they all had a fantastic time. We cruise out of Crete with 2 stops in Greece, one in Cyprus, one in Turkey and one in Egypt. We didn't want to do the traditional France, Italy, Spain Mediterranean cruise and Ocean Village had all the stops we wanted.
