HELP! Need ideas for FL vacation!
DD traveling to Daytona and Orlando. Need ideas for "fun in the sun" that do NOT involve drinking (she is underage and I would kill her!). They already are planning one day at Universal Studios in Orlando. She has one other day to plan for there and then needs idea for Daytona two days.
PLEASE help...thanks!

I was just in Daytona a few weeks ago and we went jet skiing and it was so much fun.... there were fish everywhere.

i grew up in daytona and i live near orlando now.
daytona: the ocean/beach is super rad. lifeguards are on duty 365 days/year from 10am to 6pm (summer hours). so the beach is pretty safe during the day! ocean walk = touristy area of daytona, on the beach. ice cream, restaurants, movie theatres, shopping and the beach is traffic-free. if she's in that area, there is lots to do. and how old is DD? bc there is some 18 and up night life stuff, there are a lot of "clubs" in daytona. but idk if you don't even want to suggest that!! as far as orlando... if she'll be at universal - city walk at universal is AWESOME. tons of shopping, coffee, snacks, restaurants, movies, dance clubs, etc etc etc. it can be a really fun place at night, and since its on property at universal, security is high. if she wants to "go out" in orlando, there are some 18+ clubs in "downtown orlando." that's def the rowdy party district. fun stuff to do in orlando = wet'n'wild is a SUPER FUN water park that's way cheaper than the ones at the major parks (like sea world's or disney's two water parks). you can bring your own food into wet'n'wild too, like in a cooler and therefore you can save a TON of money and have an awesome day. their wave pool is rad! orlando has crazy amounts of shopping and fun stuff to do... just PM me if you have anymore questions at all!!!

if she's into nascar-she could do the ridealong at the daytona track.........INSANE!
otherwise, shop at the oceanwalk plaza thing....... [between the wyndham resort and hilton]...-not too far north of the main drag INTO daytona parasailing is gorgeous in daytona

There is that new waterpark Aquatica in Orlando if you don't want to do the Disney thing. They have sea animals and stuff around the slides, looks pretty cool.
