LAX to VA

So with our upcoming PCS we're going to be arriving in LAX and driving to VA. Yes we're nuts
What are your suggestions for must see stops along the way. We're taking about a month of leave & will be visiting family in Texas and Oklahoma but I'm looking for some suggestions for stops along the way! TIA!

if you like gambling, i think biloxi, MS can be pretty fun!!

my family once did a road trip from daytona beach, fl to vegas and back! we saw the crater hole in arizona (http://www.americansouthwest.net/arizona/meteor_crater/) and that was sooo neat. texas took forever i think we saw the alamo and went to dallas - but i can't remember if that was maybe on a different trip? idk... this was a while ago! lol.

i also remember a six flags in st loius that we went to... my sister and i were older than your girls at the time though, so i'm not sure about suggestions for the lil ones!

You should def stop at the Alamo and the Riverwalk. You could ride along the river and at night...so pretty.

I'm pretty sure TX is the worst part of the drive, it seems like you're driving foreverrr. Yeah, I'm trying to find kid friendly stuff too. We're thinking of taking some time in San Diego, Grand Canyon etc. I told F it's going to feel like National Lampoons Vacation

Yeah all of our family is in San Antonio and we'll be spending a couple of days there
