R&R is soon!!!

We're in the single digits after all this time

We're going on a cruise stopping in Turkey, Greece, Croatia and Rome. Any advice? Tips? Cultural heads up? History lesson? Packing tips? TELL ME!!!

Well, Italy is awesome! It's pretty warm here... if it's in the Summer it's def hot, and sundresses are nice, with a cardigan for evenings or a denim jacket. Comfy sandals are needed!

I actually studied abroad in Italy but was mainly in Florence, and our first trip was to Rome which I loved and had a great time there, you have to go visit the coliseum, trevi fountain, spanish steps. My advice is be aware when you want to use some public bathrooms, they actually charge 1 euro and if you go to the grocery stores be also aware that they charge your for the plastic bags. Also be careful with the gypsies who like to pick pocket!! Other than that HAVE A FABULOUS TIME!!!

My father lived in Italy for a while...I would recommend getting out of the "tourist areas" and eating and shopping else where. We ate some of the worst food in the tourist areas.
