Can you Please link me to where you have stayed there? How do you choose an arrondissement to stay in? Help!

When I went I stayed in Montparnasse for about a month and I loved it there! I cannot for the life of me find the name of the hotel we stayed at but it was just a small-ish one on a side street. It doesn't really matter where you stay b/c you can just take the metro, kwim?

We found the hotel here: http://www.ratestogo.com/. That site has amazing deals if you book less than 28 days in advance.

We def want cheapish, but maybe not a hostel.

Thanks for the website, checking it out now. I haven't really had time to prepare and research... we are just looking into going in a couple weeks, trying to make it happen last minute.

http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/home/index.shtml I stayed in Paris in a hotel from this chain... I can't remember what it was called though. It was nice and clean--nothing super fancy but was a good location near the metro. There are a ton in this chain in all price ranges. Good luck!
