Car Rental Discounts?

Does anyone know of any deals or discounts for car rentals? We're trying to avoid taking 2 cars to Laughlin over 4th of July weekend. We need a car that seats 6 (2 adults, 4 kids... Or 3 adults 3 kids).

I need it from Thursday evening (about 5pm) to Sunday afternoon (about 3pm).

I really really don't want to have to take 2 cars... I'm not sure my little bucket will make it. LOL!

Have you tried Avis or Budget. We usually go with either cause they generally have great prices. I would check really soon though cause they tend to get very busy around the holidays

Budget has a 7 passenger SUV for $382. Is that good?

Avis in my area doesn't have anything that would fit us all available.

I know Avis has a military discount for the member, not dependents though. I went through priceline's name your own price and saved a ton of money.

Or you can go on carrentals.com, you put in the info they need and they will look up different rental companies and you can compare and see whats cheaper.

If you're a USAA member you can get a discount with Avis, Budget and Hertz.

It would be him renting it so would he just have to show his military ID or does he need orders?

LAX since most non-airport places are closed on Sundays.

USAA offers a discount as do banks or other insurance companies. Sometimes calling the rental place up you can find out if you being a member of say AAA will give you a discount.
