If you reserve a ticket with a credit card can you pay with cash at the airport?

I'm pretty sure you have to pay with the credit card. Anytime I've bought a ticket online, they actually charge it, it doesn't just reserve the ticket. If you bought it online, it probably was an internet special so they aren't going to let you pay cash for something you got on the net. It wouldn't hurt to ask though.

I believe if you reserve a ticket with your credit card, then you just instantly paid with your credit card, but I'm not sure. Where did you buy your ticket from?

I didnt do it online...I did southwest...Ill just call them today..When i was flying to cali the one airline gave me the option of paying cash if i wanted too...

You could go to the airport, but if you wait the fares are subject to change.

then, i would just pay cash. I usually go through cheap tickets or orbitz so they charge you for the ticket instantly. I guess if you go through the airline, you could just reserve it with your credit card.

i'd much rather pay online than have to deal airport BS, then again, my closest airport is LAX.. LOL

Its always about the same price and i only need a one way...Im going to call late tonight and hold the ticket for the 24 hrs and then see if i can pay cash...
