Cheapest Ariline Tickets? - Travel, Leisure & Vacations

In your experience, what's the best way to get really cheap tickets? Is there a website you like best?

I'm trying to find a flight to reno and I've been to cheaptickets.com and a few of the airlines' sites and the prices are exactly the same everywhere.

we always use travelocity. but i have found the AAA (if you're a member) has cheap tickets. we don't have a membership any more but i loves it when we did!!!

Honestly Ive always gotten my best deals by calling the airline directly and talking to a respresentative. G'Luck though

I have always had great luck with hotwire.com. Or, you could try priceline.com. I like both of those sites

just for future reference? what airline do you use. we tried that once, and tried to get the military discount with it and it was more than we have ever payed for one ticket.

I like expedia or hotwire

theres also cheaptickets.com, priceline, travelocity, orbitz

I love www.kayak.com it scans all the different companies and then gives you the best rate. When are you coming into Reno? You can always come see me I'm right near there!

I usually fly through Southwest mainly because the nonstop flights I need are where SW flies through. Like my last flight I didn't even get a military discount and I only paid 215 for Timmy's and 257 for mine (mine was expensive because it was a round trip in the same day) I've been lucky enough to catch them during their 99 one way flight deals

We also use southwest. We are all flying to Chicago for $777 for three of us. It is a non-stop flight too.
