we pcsed from alaska to california with a 1 month old and it was easy as cake she slept most of the time and just wanted a bottle when she was hungry, if your flying i would highly suggest a pacifier so their ears will pop

WE just moved to Guam from Fl. with an 11 month old. It was so much easier than I thought that it was going to be. She slept most of the way which sucked only because we were so worn out by the time that we got there. lol! I would suggest taking her favorite toys. DD watched the movies that were playing. She didn't wear any headphones. Also she got a meal everytime that we did, so that wasn't an issue. For the bottles (I don't know if you bf or ff) we had the powder, but we bought a bottled water at the airport before we got on the plane.
Do you have any layovers? We didn't have any which was good and bad. Let me know if you need anything. What airline are you going through? We went Continental and it was great! Good luck!

We flew from England to Jamaica with a 3 month old without problems, as mentioned in earlier mail they need something to suck on whilst taking off and landing due to the air pressure. I was breastfeeding . Another thing that helps their ears is peppermint oil on a small cloth for them to breath, dont keep it to close to the face.
I also had a small sleeping bag (3 foot) that I had in my lap, he seemed more cozy that way. Remember to bring the things your baby likes , drinks and snacks.

I bottle feed and only ready to feed because for some reason when i used powder she threw up so i quit that! ha ha but the doctor said she needs like baby food from the jars so that doesnt sound so hard i suppose UNTIL she starts playing in it! he he. i think i'll get off the plane like 2 times before i reach the states which is horrible i think because of the ear popping thing and i dont want to keep giving her tylenol!!! that was what the doc told me to do give her tylenol before we lift up and before we go down so i dont know.. AND she doesnt even like her pacifier anymore!!!! she threw it away a couple of months ago and just sucks on her lil index finger. should i try to give it to her again just for the plane? Thanks again for all the help everyone!!!!

Ava doesn't take a paci either. She is a total thumbsucker!! lol! She had RSV and a double ear infection when we flew, but she was still wonderful. People on the plane even came up to us afterwards and told us. lol!
Just take your baby food, and formula (call the airline and tell them that you use the ready to feed formula and they will tell you what to do.) I'm sure that she will do great!

I personally don't have experience flying with a little one but I can tell you what my mom did with my brother and me whenever we had to fly somewhere.
My mom always gave me and my brother some Benedryl like 10 minutes before boarding started. That way when we got on the plane we were tired and just wanted to sleep! We'd usually sleep the whole way through the plane ride, if not then most of it. At first I thought the Benedryl was for us so it could make the plane ride go by faster because we would be sleeping. It wasn't until later on that I realized that the benedryl was for the other passengers so it was gauranteed that they wouldn't have to deal with grumpy children God I love my mom, she is brilliant
