Questions about cheap airplane tickets...

Does anyone know where I can find cheap airplane tickets? My dh got permission to come home for his 4 day leave before heading to the sandbox...anyway, I've looked at priceline, orbitz and travelocity. Am I missing any? Does anyone know of a site that maybe gives military disounts?? Thanks for your help!

i don't know about military discount...but i used to get all my tickets off of cheapoair.com they always seemed like they had the best prices out of everyone...

try airtran airways. they have a deal that's like $74 each way if you book less than x amount of time in advance .....

also, if you're eligible try statravel.com They have some good deals, but you have to be under a certain age or a student to get their tickets. You'll have to look at the eligibility stuff, I don't remember it.

skybus.com really cheap airline tickets...they just have limited places that they go right now...but it might work for you guys!! we fly from KCI to Columbus for like $40 roundtrip...

Well depends on where you're flying. Definetely enroll in American Airlines AAdvantage!! I have used my points multiple times to fly all over the place for $5-10$. I used 15,000 miles to go see Df for deployment and it cost me only $200 + the 15,000 miles. Thats a really good deal considering its from TX-VA!

TO get any military discounts you have to call the airline..but you can try this place skybus.com they only fly to certian citys but they are CHEAP i mean like $5 a ticket..lol!!!! but like i said it all depends on where you're flying

Definately try cheapoair.com. Then look to see what carriers they are sending you on. If it is mulitple carriers it is most often the best deal. If it is a single carrier, try that carrier directly. Military dis. are often not as good as what you can do on your own.
Also try to change your dates a bit. and airports.
GI am a deal maker when it comes to airline tickets. I just bought tickets fro me and family to Orlando. I got all five of our tickets (round trip, non stop) to Orlando for 922.50. Last year I found tickets to Cali for $107.00 round trip.
