I've flown continental, but never trans atlantic.. Their rules are 2 fullsize checked bags and 1-2 carryons per passenger (i'm not positive on the carryons as I always took a backpack and purse..)

i would definitely make sure that they are within the weight restrictions since it is the holidays but you should be fine with 2 bags. have a good flight sonia
