One of DD's favorites Fried Apples

Fried Apples

1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon allspice
dash of salt
4 large TART cooking apples
5 tablesoons of butter

Wash, core and cut apples into small slices. Mix with sugar nutmeg cinnamon allspice, and salt. Heat butter in a skillet. Add apples and 1/2 of the sugar and spice mix. Cook until almost tender. Tyrn add the rest of the sugar spice mix. Cook until apples are almost transparent.
