I want to surprise DF with a key lime pie in the fridge when he gets home from deployment. Anyone have a killer recipe?

I have a great one! It's DH's fav dessert and he always tells me mine is the best he's ever had (I believe him because I always try a bite of his if he gets it somewhere else in order to compare, lol).

1/2 cup fresh lime juice (3-4 common limes (which is what I use))
4 teaspoons grated lime zest (a little less of this is better than a little more, trust me, lol)
    4 egg yolks
1- 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
    11 graham crackers
    3 Tablespoons sugar
    5 Tablespoons butter, melted

Whisk egg yolks and lime zest together in bowl until tinted light green (mine always looks more yellow that's slightly green, than I would consider light green)
Beat in milk, then juice and set aside at room temperature till it thickens
    Preheat oven to 325
Mix graham cracker crumbs (you have to mush up the graham crackers, DH likes the crumbs left a little on the bigger side) and sugar in another bowl
Add butter and stir with fork until well blended
Pour crust into 9" pir pan (I just use the tin throw away ones) and press into pan to form crust
bake crust on center rack for about 15 mins until lightly browned, remove and cool.
Pour lime filling into crust, spread evenly, and bake for 15 mins (I've done it in two different ovens and 15 mins seemed to be good for both of them, and they cooked fairly differently) until center sets but still wiggles when shaken (it does NOT get a film or browned on top of anything).
Remove from oven and cool to room temp
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours until well chilled

Seriously, try this recipe! lol There is no way I would ever try another key lime recipe. I don't even like key lime pie that much and this recipe is the BOMB! You don't really even need cool whip or anything on top of it.

I make an awesome key lime pie that everyone always requests, and it is so easy! Get Nellie and Joes Famous Lime Juice, follow the recipe on the bottle and you're good to go. That totally homemade (fresh squeezed lime juice, yum!) recipe above looks similar, and delicious also!

Awesome! Thanks guys! CC22's recipe is very similar to the Nellie & Joe's recipe, but includes how to make homemade crust. I'm sure I can't go wrong with either. Thanks!!! :-D I'm glad it's so easy!
