Question butter, margerine, or shortening?
im going to make db some cookies and things to send to him in iraq, last box i sent took almost a month!but i think it was because he moved bases after about three weeks of being there. he still ate some even though they were stale, lol. im afraid of getting him sick so i dont know which to use!lol.. any ideas??

Shortening keeps longer. That'd be a good way to go.
