Candy Cane Cookies

My DF wants them so bad and i keep forgetting to make them for him well his birthday is in 2 weeks so i want to surprise him and send him some ive never heard of them until him so i have no idea what recipe to go by and his mom has a lot going on so i dont want to bother her so does anyone have a good recipe ive looked online and have a few but i was just looking for someone who has made them before

NEVER again will I ever make these put cookies!!! they are hard or maybe i just suck at cooking but im on day 2 of trying to make them

Ive made them, and theyre kinda a pain to make.... When you make them make sure you have wax paper and alot of peppermint extract depending on how minty you want them i put the amunt it said and they didnt taste minty at all

i followed the directions and i couldnt get them to thicken up like dough at all..it was gooey so i was like screw it ill just make little cookies so they were swirly red and white cookies they baked like a cake not really like a cookie and they tasted awful so im gonna try a different recipe what recipe do you use?

I'd just buy some sugar cookie dough. . . mix some crushed up candy cane and pepermint extract into them and be done with it haha. But, I am slightly lazy.
