Jello - Sweets & Treats

How do you keep jello from getting like that layer of film on the top of it? Like the kind you make from the box and refridgerate? If I put like plastic wrap over the bowl will it keep it from doing that?

Thanks! Its been driving me nuts lol. I've been craving jello lately and I've made some but they keep getting that nasty film and its so gross!

That "skin" happens when the part exposed to air dries out, so yeah, if you seal the container, it'll help.

Personally, I LOVE it on homemade chocolate pudding. I think I'm going to have to make some now, just to be able to eat the skin off the top.
