Help! Cookie dough won't roll!!!!
I'm attempting the camo cookies but my dough won't roll right! Does that mean it's too warm? Help! It's in the fridge right now getting colder.

yes, the heat from the room, and/or your hands warmed the butters/oils in the dough and made it too sticky.
let it chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes. that should help. then when you take pieces out, put the excess back in the fridge so it doesn't heat up while you're working on the other ones. can't wait to see!!!

Thanks! I'm going to leave it in there for at least an hour because it's in the fridge which runs warm.. and it was incredibly not pasty. I check on it ever 10 mins or so but I'll be pushing an hour soon.

oh another tip is that i dip my hands in powdered sugar before i roll cookies... same way you would with flour for savory breads. it helps keep moisture from your hands from going into the dough.
