Glazed Eggnog Spritz Cookies
cookies:
3/4 granulated sugar 1 cup butter or margarine softened 2 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. rum flavor 1 egg 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1 tsp. ground nutmeg rum glaze: 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted 1 cup powdered sugar 1 tsp. rum flavor 1 tbsp. water 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg, if desired hate oven to 350 (if using dark or nonstick cookie sheet, heat over to 325) in a large bowl beat granulated sugar and 1 cup butter with electric mixer in medium speed until fluffy. beat in vanilla 2 tsp. rum flavor and the egg until smooth. beat in flour and 1 tsp. nutmeg. place 1/4 of the dough at a time in cookie press, on ungreased cookie sheet, form desired shapes with dough. bake 6-10 minutes. or until edges are lightly borwned. cool 1 minute. remove form cookie sheets to wire rack. in a small bowl, stir all glaze ingredients except nugmeg with spoon until smooth and thin enough to drizzle. pour mixture into small resealable plastic food storage bag, cut off tiny corner of bag. squeeze bag to drizzle glaze on cookie. beofre glaze is set, sprinkle 1/2 tsp. nutmeg over cookies or powdered sugar
