Hydrocephalus - Special Needs Children

My 10 month old has it and a VP shunt. Just wanted to know if any other mommies are in the same boat and can offer advice about the symptoms and what revisions are like.

tdp3 can answer lots of questions. her daughter has the same. she's not very active on here (PCSing in about a week and a half), but if you send her a PM i'm sure she'll be more than willing to help. her daughter is 4 now and doing pretty well with it all.

He is okay thanks. We are just taking everything one day at a time but sometimes all those days pile up.

I wish I could offer advice, I just had a crainiolotomy to remove a cyst that was blcoking my spinal fluid and causing hydrocephalus, but no shunt was needed.
I had excellent surgery at Walter Reed 7 months ago though, we have some excellent neurosurgeons and the like with tricare!

I'm not a mom...BUT I'm a 25 year old with Dandy Walker Hydrocephalus and a VP Shunt since I was 6 months old...Does that count?
