Developmental Pedi--UPDATE
We have out appointment today at 1 @ CHKD. We will unfortunately not be seeing Dr Aiello, but we are seeing his Nurse Prac. They could not get us in to see the doctor til April, so we got an apt with the nursr bc we got on the cancelation list.
I am hoping someone has some experience to how these appts go? I am really excited/nervous. I feel like me have 50 pieces to the puzzle and this is going to put them all together. I dont know what else I am looking for in this post...? Maybe some good vibes for Hunter? and for the nervous Mama too? **********UPDATE************* Well we really do not have any more info than we started with. the doctor ruled out aspergers and autisim. He wants blood drawn to check for some genetic disorders. He seemed very concerned with his low muscle tone.... so I guess now we wait?

What are you seeing them for? Ours was for Evan who has some pretty bad speech delays, hearing issues, and sensory issues. He basically did the whole question and answer thing with us..if you've seen any specialists (EDIS or something like that) already, all the questions they asked you there, they will most likely ask you again. We went over routines, behaviors, his development, and all that. He observed Evan the entire time we talked and watched how he handled certain situations. He also did a full body exam on him.
I hope you can get some answers. At this point, every appt we go to, we just leave with more questions. Right now, all we know is his hearing issues need to be fixed and then we can work more the pedi. I know how it feels to have this puzzle and no way to make it all fit.
