I think Gabe does, but havent pushed the issue for him to be diagnosed. Loud noises land him in the fetal position. Certain food textures and he pukes till nothing but bile is coming up. We have to cut all the tags off of his clothes (thank goodness tagless is getting more and more common). We just deal with it on a day by day basis. I just feel like he has enough to deal with without adding more to it. Plus for him, it's doesnt get in the way of normal day to day stuff.

My daughter has sensory issues. I haven't heard it called dysfunction. In her case, it is more like (She is 2 now) she needs heavy input and likes to walk around. She hates to sit in her stroller. She'll throw things (Like blocks, not to be a brat but just toss them) when she doesn't get alot of heavy input (Like physical outdoor playtime) she has a hard time say in the bathtub getting her hair washed or sitting still for lunch. I'm much more about it through her Occupational therapist and her little quirks that we see. It's hard when she can't tell us. Not sure if that is the same thing you are talking about?

The toddler I am an aid for a child with sensory issues. Loud noises are a big no around him because he freaks out. If you wipe his face you have to use deep pressure or he gets upset. He doesn't like being held much either.
