EEG Time~Updated - Special Needs Children

For some reason, I can't update my OP titled "oh yeah" so I thought I'd do it here...So, after talking with the NP at Aidens (ODS) appt today, she wants to have an EEG done in hopes of catching an "absence seizure" on it. She thinks he IS having them, but, we need to see it happen. So, I'm waiting for a call back from the EEG clinic so we can have it done asap. My next step (if he is having them) is to find out why he is having them.

Appt date: June 3rd!!!!

UPDATE: 06/08/09

EEG results came back normal!

So right now, we are going to play the "wait and see" game and hopefully the schools testing will figure something out with him as far as to whether or not he's got a learning disability caused by something else.

Who would think that hearing "I think he is having absence seizures...this is def not normal" would be so great to hear?

I'm just so happy to finally be getting some answers.
