Update on my DS
Well its been almost 2 whole weeks since DS has been put in the special ed class for kids with autism/aspergers and so far according to his new teacher he is doing great. She says she hasnt had any problems with him at all. So I am assuming he is doing his work and making friends even though his auditory sensory issues make him complain about some of the kids making to much noise and he himself can be just as noisy.
Anyway I was really happy to see him adjusting sooner than we thought he might. The first day he was in the class was probably just a big shocker but the days after that he was doing alot better. I really think he will be fine with it. |

It's so good to hear this about Robbie! I think you and the educators made a great decision here, mom. I look forward to hearing more updates as time goes on!

I sure hope so. It really will be interesting to see how they achieve the goals they have on his IEP. I just want him to learn to be more sociable and be willing to go different places and have fun instead of being so introverted until he gets to know people.
