protein and gluten intollerant, but keep feeding her protein and gluten?!?!
I am just so disappointed by the appointment with the GI today. I have been told by everyone that this is the best GI in the area, but after this 3rd appointment with him and accomplishing nothing I am seriously considering looking elsewhere. I feel like they do not care...
Anyway... now that I vented a little, let me explain what has happened. I explained, once again, all of the problems Auriana has had regarding her digestion. The doctor agrees that yes, she has malabsorption disorder (which there are about 50 different types) so I asked what type he believed she had and he said that she is most likely intolerant to protein and gluten (mild celiac)and so I asked what we should do about that and he just said that there is nothing we can do and continue to feed her the formula (WHICH CONTAINS THE THINGS THAT SHE IS INTOLERANT TO!!!) I do not understand this and if it is causing her intestines to be inflamed... why in the world would I continue feeding it to her?!?!? Ugh... I am just disgusted with the appointment today...
