Anyone dealt with feeding therapy?
Has anyone had any experience with feeding therapy? What were your experiences? Did it help your little one?

Are you talking about feeing kids with "sensory integration disorder"?? My #3 was doing OT and PT because of her SID. The SID caused her to not eat because the textures bothered her so much. She kept falling off the growth chart. With PT and OT we were able to get her to eat but to this day we have an issue with feeding her (she's almost 7 and 36 lbs). But at least she's getting something in her now and it isn't just PediaSure or Formula.

Ethan had to go to a speech therpasit to evulate his eating and make sure all was well since for like 3 months he refused to eat anything but oatmeal and crackers. They had me bring in different foods and she sat him in a highchair and fed him and watched how he chewed and such
Dunno if thats the same as you are asking tho |

I don't know about babies as young as Auri though. Is the plan to have her off of the feeding tube and work into taking a bottle??

I am a speech-pathologist and I do feeding therapy. It has helped a lot of the kids I have worked with and kids I have seen who worked with other therapist. I have seen kids get weened off of their tubes. It can be a slow process, but it does make a difference.
