evaluation went not so smooth (VERY LONG)

i have been having problems with my (4 yr old) son pre-k teacher. she is always saying your son was crazy today like she always tells me this everyday.. well monday he was finally evaluated and come to find out he has all of the delays i have already knew about speech delay, developmental delay, and i think that was it. she didn't mention anything to help the teacher with him so i mentioned the little problems the teacher was haveng and the psychologist aske me can he sit and watch 5 minutes of tv without moving and i was like ummmn NOPE and she said we wont know anything till we put the scores in and then we will see if we need to test him for ADHD.. made my stomach drop to the ground its one thing for his teacher to mention it but when a psychologist mentions it

im so glad my husband is home now every parent hates hearing things like this but he hasnt been actually diagnosed and hopefully he'll be a very active child and now have ADHD.. but we'll see.

make sure they diagnose him correctly-

before allowing them to make a dianosis- get him a full scale allergy test done.

there are aome allergies to foods that can cause chemical reactions-
a few I know: whole wheat, soy, red dye and even protien deficiency.

my DS was originally diagnosed with ADHD when he was 7, but after watching a TV program I decided to get him tested.
he was allergic to whole wheat- it caused him to have hyperactivity -

he was officially rediagnosed with ADD- and was treated with diet and behavior modification techniques, we also learned how to parent an ADD child. he has never been medicated

he is now 27 can eat anything he wants and is an honor student in college.
( he also spent 8 yrs in the Navy as a jet engine mechanic.

Do you mind me asking what kind of test told you that whole wheat caused your son hyperactivity? Standard allergy tests show only life-threatening allergies not sensitivities. I'd be interested in a test like the one you are mentioning.
