Dairy Free Cheese, this rocks.

I don't really miss cheese on my pizza or anywhere else. EXCEPT Parmesan!!! I used to never eat the spaghetti sauce, just that stuff on my noodles, lol.

But we recently ordered this stuff and I felt I had to share it because its the best vegan cheese I have ever had (and I have almost completely given up on dairy free cheese!) but even the kidlet likes it! So anyone with a kid who loves the cheese but can't have it....

What can you recommend by way of actual cheesy cheese? The only thing I've found that's worth a darn is Veggie Shreds, and I can only find them at one store. I'm afraid to try anything else. Oh and they don't don't melt well at all.

No veggies shreds don't melt! The singles do, but they have casein in them.

vegan cheese & dairy free cheese are oxymorons, if you ask me. i'd die if i couldn't eat dairy, meat & eggs.

Um, what? This isn't a debate thread, or a recipe thread, this is on the special needs children board. What was the purpose of posting that you would "die" if you couldn't eat dairy, meat, & eggs on the board where women are talking about alternative options for their kids who can't eat that stuff? Did you just not realize what board this was on?
