Very touching!! The 2 Autistic students I have in my class are pretty low cognitively, but such sweethearts
It really is a mysterious disorder. Hopefully research will help parents diagnose earlier and obtain better treatment at a young age.

Early diagnosis is the key
. Noah has had extensive therapy for a few years, and was officially diagnosed in Dec 06. Since then, he has come such a long way. He has made so many friends, and the only therapy he still needs is speech, and that's mainly for his articulation. As much as we might gripe about Tricare, they have covered everything for him when it comes to therapy and his specialists. I am so incredibly lucky that we have the services for him.
