    hmmm i wonder how much sugar this is? I had gastric bypass so i need alot of protein but very little sugar.

    The syrup has a lot of sugar but you can probably find sugar free options for that and the peanut butter.

    i'm not sure how making your own is cheaper. That Whey protein stuff is expensive, so is maple syrup and flaxseeds. Almonds are also expensive. How many bars does it make?

    I would need to really break it down to see how much per bar it actually is. A thing of whey protein is about $40 (sometimes more), so it would depend on how much of that is used, i.e. how many bars for the total cost. The items listed could easily cost $100-$125 (maybe more). It would have to make at least 100 bars to make it worth while.
