Im really trying to jump start healthy eating, and I am really wanting to get on an all natural organic meat free diet, so I wantd to see if anyone out there has any good recipies or foods that they have tried that are Vegeterian.

I ate a strict vegetarian diet for health reasons a while back...
My favorites:
Boca Burgers... surprisingly good
Soy Nuggets.... a relatively decent substitute for chicken nuggets
Almond milk.... I prefer it over soy & regular milk
Rice "cheese"..... doesn't melt as well as regular cheese, but doesn't taste too weird
Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP)...... the BEST meat substitute for things like tacos, spaghetti sauces, etc.
We eat meat now... but still drink almond milk instead of regular milk... and we always keep boca burgers handy because they're quick and yummy.
Look for Quorn products! I know some places have them in the US...I don't know if you could consider them all natural and organic but they're vegetarian and are meal replacements, also I think Linda Mccartney do a vegetarian range there, I'm not sure where or what though you might have to check on the website as the Mccartney UK range is a bit different.
A good idea is to look online for vegetarian brands and see where they stock them, I'm guessing wholefoods would have alot of veggie foods? Also pick up a vegetarian cook book too! it's good to have a flick through it and get some meal ideas.![]()
I am big on almond milk for smoothies and oatmeal.
Veggie soups. I pick my favorite veggies, saute them up a little, toss in a pot with broth and olive oil and simmer until done.
Eggplant stirfry
Fajitas sans meat
I am not at my cooking best at the moment, with DB away for the next few months.
My favorite food blog for veggie stuff is:
101 Cookbooks - Healthy Recipe Journal
Well, fresh veggies are the best but the most amazing meat replacement brand I've had is Gardein! Check them out. They're everyone now (in the section with Boca).

I love tofu so I cook with it in place of meat a lot of the times. My best friend growing up was a strict vegetarian (until she started eating out of garbage cans) and she showed me a lot of ways to eat meatless.
It's relatively simple. I tend to just purchase lots of fresh fruit and veggies from the local market and just improvise.
As far as recipes, just google search any dish that appeals to you or use a favorite dish and substitute with faux-meat alternatives.
I have a few other websites I use to get recipes, my PM is open if you ever need help!![]()
Have you heard of Seitan? Best meat substitute ever! You can find it at Whole Foods if you have one around you.
