March Corpus Christi Meet-up

How does March 15th at 11am at Chili's in Portland sound? I was thinking either Chili's or La Iguana ( a yummy mexican food restaurant here). But Chili's would give everyone a variety of items to choose from.

Since we just had it in Corpus, I figured we could do it out here this time & make it easier for Cat to be able to stay a bit longer at.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww thank you sweetie. I appreciate you thinking of me. I just hope Breezy would want to come over this way. If more people though would rather go to Corpus thats fine too. Just go with the Majority. I know alot of us though live either in Portland or Ingleside now that we have Judy down here too. But i am more than willing to drive to corpus. I was just glad that i have understanding people to work for that let me take longer lunches that i can make up.

That is awesome that you have understanding bosses!

I just figured it would be nice to alternate areas. We've got about 3 ladies in Corpus & about 5 out in the Portland area. Instead of the ladies on this side of the bridge driving to Corpus this time, we could switch it.

Plus it would give you more time to actually be able to visit!

I don't mind driving to Corpus & carpooling as well.

well yeah i could still take a longer lunch cause it only takes me about 10 to 15 min to get to portland from work. and then i will have longer to visit. but i wouldnt want to be gone no more than 2 hours from work. in fact the ladies here at work did go to portland at chilis one day at work and i ended up taking more than a hour. but i think they see it, as long as i get my work done and show that i can make up my time if i need to they are okay with it. its not like my old job in VA

Chili's in Portland sounds good to me!!! Especially if I get that job!!! And I think that day should be feasable even if my IL's are still here cuz they will happily watch Quaint for me!!!

Yay, Judy! I hope you can make it!

Both of my kid's will be in school that day. Even though Ashlynn was great yesterday, it would still be nice to chat with just the ladies!

yeah carpool would be nice. well when is it not the busiest for lunch at chilis. thats when i would like to be there so we dont have to wait so long. there isnt a whole lot i can eat there but i did manage to find something i can eat last time i went. so i would say either 1130am or 12 noon again.

I would just have to leave by about the time we left yesterday to be able to pick up the kids
