house and college near Hill Utah

    Advertisements
Hello! I was wondering if anyone had any advice on buying a house near Hill AFB? Areas to stay away from, things to consider, anything... It seems like the houses are priced/ listed high compared to BAH and I'm worried that the cost of living is higher than they claim it to be.

Also, any opinions on Webster vrs USU? Or NUAMES for my daughter?

    Thanks so much!!!

I grew up just a couple hours south of Hill AFB Weber and USU are both good schools. From my understanding USU has more majors I believe but this was a few years ago so I could be wrong. I have family in the the Syracuse area and Bountiful area and they love it there. I'm not sure what areas to avoid but I do know there are a lot of pretty areas and family friendly areas near Hill.

I agree and it isn't that far away from Hill. But if you want to be closer I would suggest Bountiful, Farmington, Kaysville, Clinton, Westpoint, Layton, and Syracuse as good choices. I would avoid the Ogden area to live, nice little place to visit though.
