    Denver Colorado!

DH has found a giant company that he might want to work for when he gets out. It's in Denver.

I've never been and neither has he but all we've heard is really great things.

So, tell me about the Denver area! We're just starting to research the area, but it's looking pretty good!

We use to live in cheyenne and have lots of friends in the Denver area.

It is busy, nice, and we liked it. If you want, Loveland is just about 30 min away (on good days) and there are suburbs that are nice to live in.

We would love to live there, except the taxes.

    EVERYTHING!!!!!!!

Hmm.... I guess just overall what the people are like, what are any of the big perks or negatives of living there (maybe like good housing market, cool stuff to do, overall cost of living) I have been to Vegas once, but aside from that I have not traveled any further west than Mobile, AL. I just read that they get an average of 300 days of sun which sounds AMAZING right about now! How rough are the winters?

Denver is the best place in the world. IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. Well, the whole surrounding area. And you like outdoorsy stuff so you couldn't pick a better place. Winter is cold but despite what it sounds like they actually get comparatively little snow.

We would move to Denver tomorrow if we got the chance.

Cost of living is average to high, there are TONS of suburbs to choose from around the city, and it is absolutely gorgeous there.

    Good to hear.
The more I research it, the more I really really like it! Land prices are not too bad so we could afford a mini farm after a few years, there are a lot of the particular type of horse show I want in the area , a lot of places for me to potentially get a job in my field, good location to travel around out west, only about 5 hours from DH's grandparents which is pretty cool, pretty mountains and lots of outdoor stuff....

ETA: and many agility training facilities for Sherlock!
