    I don't live in San Diego anymore but I absolutely love viewing that! It makes me home sick for San Diego.

    No, they don't pass the carrier base, and they are surfaced when they are pulling in. It'd be neat to watch but im sure its just since the sub base is the first base in the channel the cams don't get that view.
