    Screwy San Clemente area

    Advertisements
I'm visiting DB in a couple weeks and usually we go to San Diego, get a hotel there and explore the sites. Well this time we are going to stay in San Clemente since it's closer to base for him.
Anybody know of nice hotels and fun places to visit?

    Let me know thank you!

I live in San Clemente! I love it here. I've heard the beach cottages at San Onofre are nice. They are on base, so your DB would have to book it for you. You can find info here: San Onofre Beach | MCCS Camp Pendleton Del Mar Avenue downtown is a fun place to go. It goes all the way down to the pier and the beach. There are a lot of cool local shops and restaurants. I would recommend Beachfire. Really yummy food and fun atmosphere. They have live music every night. Feel free to PM me! I'm not an expert on all the cool local stuff since I've only lived here a year, but I'll give whatever info I can.

San Clemente is beautiful. No hotel recommendations personally but there are not a lot of bad areas anywhere near there so you are pretty safe regardless.

    Have fun!
